Ink’s big think
I’ll be honest – I don’t know if I really love or hate the video below. That’s probably good news for the folks over at Ink, whose inflight mags you’ll have read on many an airline.
To showcase why the printed word isn’t dead, especially in the context of a journey by air (not just runway-to-runway), it works well. But boy, does the modern day poetry thing get on your nerves.
For fun I started to imagine Craig Charles narrating. Then I wondered whether the person speaking is the person – OK, person’s mouth/lips/chin – featured in the video. The audio has clearly been layered on, understandably so, but given the nature of the words I’d get it if the lack of the rest of his face is because he’s reading (probably from ink on a page).
And the words are great, don’t get me wrong. This video has done the rounds this week – so well done Ink, even if it’s a bit annoying.
